Ten pupils from Biggar High School were invited to attend the Conference of Schools this week. The conference is a climate event designed and delivered by members of the youth forum. Pupils participated in lots of different activities including making seed bombs, cycling to blend smoothies, and creating rotating wind turbines. 

Our four youth forum members worked alongside pupils from Strathaven Academy to deliver a fabulous two day workshop on fast fashion and attire. They have inspired other schools to set up a pre-loved shop like them and to even use the old clothing to make useful items such as draught excluders, bags, no-sew pillows and rugs.
